Contributed to the ecological maintenance of Centenary Riverside in Rotherham by working collaboratively in small teams to remove invasive plant species, helping to preserve native biodiversity in a public-facing environment.

FRONT OF HOUSE ASSISTANT, RUTLAND WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

I began volunteering at the Wildlife Sanctuary during my Duke of Edinburgh silver award. Initially this involved helping to look after the birds of prey, from feeding, cleaning, maintenance of the avaries and health checks on the birds. The role expanded to become more public facing by working front of house and hosting visitor 'Hawk Walks'.
